the life and practices of one of the great Caitanya Vaisnava saints of
the twentieth century, Baba Sri Tinkadi Goswami. As by
one of Tinkadi Baba's dear disciples, Sri Binode Bihari Das Babaji drew
on his own
experiences as a servant and companion during the last years of his
life. In addition, he collected other materials for
the book from many of Baba Tinkadi's closest disciples.
For Baba's life before his renunciation, Binode Bihari relied
on
information gathered from his childhood friends and wife.
As
such the book is the best account currently available on
the life, teachings, practices, and visionary experiences of
this extraordinary holy man. The work is translated into
English with introduction and annotation by Neal Delmonico
(PhD). The book also includes the original text along
with translations of two Bengali songs praising the main elements
of Baba Tinkadi Goswami's life. Finally, the book
includes
some
of the recollections of some of Baba Tinkadi's Western disciples.
